London Capital Stack Summit

London Capital Stack Summit | UCL Centre for Sustainable Business

About

London has the research, the capital, and the ambition. So why do so many climate innovations stall before they reach scale?

For CSOs tasked with delivering sustainability outcomes and COOs responsible for embedding change across complex organisations, scaling climate innovation remains one of the defining leadership challenges of our time.

On Tuesday 23 June, the UCL Centre for Sustainable Business will bring together leading voices from climate finance, innovation, and urban leadership for an evening of honest, action-oriented discussion at UCL School of Management, Canary Wharf.

Moderated by Professor Paolo Taticchi, Co-Director of UCL Centre for Sustainable Business, and Christopher Patacsil, Global Research Advisor at CIV:LAB, the event will explore some of the key challenges facing climate innovation today — from retrofit financing in underserved communities and the gap between philanthropic and institutional capital, to urban climate technology and the role of government as an enabler.

We will be joined by:

• Erin Meezan, Chief Sustainability Officer at JLL and Executive Director of JLL Foundation
• Ryan Ramos, Head of Product and Technology at Inclusive Prosperity Capital
• Erin Ellis, Senior Director of Development at Efficiency Capital
• Julia Attwood, Research Director at Sightline Climate
• Sonam Velani, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Streetlife Ventures
• Anh Nguyen, Urban Innovation Fellow at Cornell Tech

Together, they will explore how finance, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration can help climate solutions reach scale.
