At this Chairs & NED meeting we will examine the rapidly evolving technology and AI landscape. Clif will share what he is currently seeing across the sector, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, which Goldman Sachs views as an emerging industrial revolution. He will outline how investment flows into AI are shifting, the innovative business models gaining traction, and how these trends are shaping both private and capital markets. Clif will also provide a concise overview of Goldman Sachs’ own activities in this space, offering valuable strategic insight for Chairs and NEDs.

Clif is head of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group in EMEA, focused on advising many of the firm’s clients in the telecommunications, communications infrastructure, Internet and media sectors. He is a member of the Investment Banking Growth Investment Committee, GS Innovation Lab and the London Environmental Group. Previously, Clif worked in New York and Los Angeles, in various groups including the United Kingdom Coverage Group, Merger Group and the Consumer Retail Group. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 as a financial analyst and was named managing director in 2009 and partner in 2016. Clif joined the Board of Skysthelimit.org in 2020, a nonprofit helping underrepresented, young entrepreneurs to build and grow their businesses. Clif earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999.
