In-house Tax and the AI Evolution - the RELX Case

About

Rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI), building on top of automation technologies, is accelerating the transformation of operations in large multinational enterprises, including how they manage their tax affairs. Where tax teams will end up is the work of futurologists (if there’s a settled end-state at all), but there’s broad consensus that tax functions are headed towards an era of more sophisticated data capture and analytics and more automation to support growing requirements for real-time reporting.
Attendees will hear from members of the RELX Group tax team about how their operations and expectations are evolving with the early use of AI, accelerated by their ability to leverage Tolley+ AI, the product launched by Lexis Nexis UK, a RELX Group company. Drawing on the RELX presentation and demo, there will be a roundtable discussion. To what extent do changes taking place at RELX indicate where tax teams in other MNEs will be going?
