Join us for a highly participative and engaging masterclass on the importance of effective Governance to Leadership, and of high-performing Leadership to effective Governance. Participants will explore how the context and practice is changing in relation to both Governance and Leadership across a range of types and sizes of organisations.

The session will be led by Patrick Dunne OBE, an experienced Chair, author of the award-winning book “Boards” and member of the Higgs review.

During the masterclass, participants will take a deep dive into the purpose of governance and leadership as well as how they interact and support each other. In addition, we will explore the contributions of various stakeholders, including the Board, executives, and sub-committees, as well as technology, in achieving effective governance and high-performing leadership.

We will consider alternative frameworks to guide organisational formulation and decision-making, and will explore real life dilemmas and approaches to reporting and disclosure, to see how to embed good ESG values in leadership and organisational values and culture.
