Great executives are often appointed to Board Committees because of their excellent track records, but that doesn't automatically make them effective Non-Executives.
During periods of uncertainty, an organisation requires strong NED leadership to not only ensure everything is on the right track but also encourage management to go for growth, negating the risks and thus gaining a competitive edge over other players in the market.
Recognising the importance of strong NED leadership in an organisation's success, we've put together a session looking to address what makes a great leader at board level (and how that differs from Executive leadership), focusing on the challenges of leading in times of uncertainty and how strong leadership can turn threat into opportunity.
We will be hearing from a series of experienced NED members on what board leadership best practice looks like. Our panel includes:
Anette Nabavi: Holds multiple NED roles including Chair of Eleco's Remuneration Committee.
Jeremy Tan: Group Executive Director of Excelco Group.
Tanya Gass: Partner, Board Practice & Legal: Norman Broadbent
Robert Beveridge: Portfolio Non-executive Director: Finsbury Food Group
Delegates will be able to apply the learnings to their own Audit, Remuneration and other committee roles and we hope you can be one of them.
