What is meant by tax transformation and how does it relate to systems changes in mainstream finance? This meeting will consider the vision and mindset of a tax transformation that distinguishes it from a pure technology project. How can tax teams ensure that changes are not just quick fixes, but instead move the department towards optimised deployment of people, processes and technology? How can tax teams gain the confidence in the quality of the underlying data? How are these questions affected by the degree to which groups are centralised or devolve decision-making to relatively autonomous parts of the business? We will hear from the A.S.
