The use of ‘next-gen’ boards has been on the rise in recent years and can be a great way to develop future leaders and ensure their organisation can benefit from the value they can add at a strategic level. Age diversity in the boardroom itself however, seems to have fallen behind the conversation which should be a cause for concern as the difference in perspective a younger board member can bring to discussions is invaluable.
We have put together a meeting where members can hear from the experiences of Karon Chapman (Head of Talent Development, Aviva), and Roger Jeynes (Non-Executive Director, Development Bank of Wales) on their experiences of 'next gen' boards and appointing and onboarding younger NEDs.
We hope you can join us to discuss how to ensure organisations are making the most of younger talent at board level.
