Digitalisation: How the speed of innovation is changing business

About

The world of work changed dramatically in 2020, with the pandemic forcing companies to embrace technology more than ever before. Businesses need to have the right processes in place to help support productivity internally, with many already sighting improvements in the culture. With this comes the increased capability of supporting customers who's own requirements have developed. In this session, members will hear from various digital leaders on their experiences of shaping innovation & taking business on the digitalisation journey and will have the opportunity to discuss:

  • How the speed of innovation will change business; internal changes & developments and adapting externally for customers
  • Embracing new world but not losing sight for the key objectives and understanding new challenges
  • Ensuring the board remains visible and people recognise the role of leadership in innovating
  • Finding the right balance and engaging your people to understand more about what works and what doesn’t
  • What works, what doesn’t work (examples/experiences) and how this is a long-term strategy that needs to be evolved
  • How the pandemic has highlighted many businesses were not ready digitally and that despite believing they had been on the ‘digitalisation’ journey, they can look at where the gaps are
  • Upskilling & reskilling to embrace the new way of working and how to develop your people
