Is it time to rethink the Board model?

About

The changes to the way we work created much debate in C-Suite on whether the current board model is outdated. Organisations are tackling the developing requirements of their people and clients, and aligning new strategies has never been more important to the future success of the business. But is the 'way we have always done it' going to suffice in the long-term? Is the current board model outdated? In this session, we will analyse a number of areas including:

  • The relevance of NEDs
  • How to improve & enhance the role of the REMCO with a key focus on responsible reward & people investment
  • Developing the NOMCO to play a more critical role in executive planning & succession
  • Developments in the audit landscape and how this will trigger changes to the focus of Audit committees
  • Articulating your boards ‘Added-Value’
  • Training executives to recognise & utilise NEDs more effectively
  • Thinking about the challenges for boards around the corner and beyond
